Lauren is a bioengineer turned healthcare strategist that is determined to dramatically transform the way we identify and solve problems within the healthcare industry. Throughout her work she consistently applies a lens of health equity and leverages her lived experience to focus on designing for underserved populations.
Her expertise combines a strong background in operations, performance improvement and strategy design. Lauren currently leads a strategy team focused on defining and aligning objectives across the enterprise. Prior to joining Blue Shield she worked in strategic planning at Kaiser Permanente and held a variety of operations roles at Johnson & Johnson launching new medical devices to market. Lauren received a dual MBA/MPH from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and the School of Public Health. She has a B.S. in Bioengineering from Cornell University.
