Kellie McElhaney is on the Berkeley Haas faculty and is the Founding Director of the Center for Equity, Gender and Leadership (EGAL).
Launched in November 2017, EGAL’s mission is to educate equity fluent leaders to ignite and accelerate change. Equity fluent leaders examine their own power and privilege and courageously confront uncomfortable truths, increase opportunities and improve access and drive change towards an equitable world. Equity Fluent Leadership is an ongoing journey. McElhaney helped develop the equity fluent leadership concept and teaches it to students and business leaders across the country and around the world. She also runs her own equity fluent leadership global consultancy, and serves on a few corporate and non-profit boards.
